Our Management course is designed to arm you with the skills you’ll need to become an effective manager in today’s rapidly-evolving business environment. Your first year of study will provide you with a broad grounding in business and management, covering topics such as the history of management, decision-making and business innovation.
In semesters 3-7, compulsory core modules provide theory and applications of management. You’ll study leadership, project management, operations management, business ethics, and a range of practical management relevant topics that provide transferable skills for the workplace. You’ll also have the chance to take elective modules in accounting and finance for managers.
In your final year, you’ll research, analyse and carry out a dissertation project based on a particular business and sector. You’ll be tasked with investigating a particular problem, phenomenon or issue to demonstrate your capability in using the problem-solving tools and techniques taught on the course.
